Weekly Update with Danny 20th April: Property Deals, New Connections, and Global Hustle
This week? Absolute madness.
I kicked things off with an early flight out of Jersey to London, where I had a 4-hour layover before my next connection—but no time wasted. I squeezed in a luxury property viewing that took three trains and a bus to get to (yes, that was the fastest way).
The home? A newly built stunner, fully fitted by our interior architecture firm. I’d seen the pics and videos, but nothing prepared me for the sheer craftsmanship. It’s now live with us at £12M—and I’ve attached photos because this place is a masterpiece.
Back-to-back, I picked up a batch of exceptional new villas, really standout, unique homes that elevate the portfolio. One of them? A Marbella listing that looks like royalty lives there. Think palace vibes. It’s coming online soon at €16M.
Most of my week has been dedicated to hunting down a very specific off-market renovation opportunity in Marbella—and I found it. Through a good friend, no less. It’s a gem with serious potential. We’ll be handling the full journey: acquisition, renovation, resale. As always, a few hurdles to clear first, but the bones are there.
Then came the race back to Gatwick, fielding calls and meetings non-stop en route—followed by a quick hop to the Isle of Man for just over a day. Then? Straight back to London, where fate dropped an old friend from 8 years ago on my flight. We ended up chatting for hours at Gatwick, and it turns out they’ve got clients that could be perfect for us. Wild how these things line up.
Finally back in Jersey, I helped a local client submit an offer on a new home—though oddly, we’ve heard nothing back yet. Not even a whisper. So we wait…
Also caught up with a potential new agent for Jersey—big energy, serious network, and the kind of hunger that’s hard to fake. We’ll see how that unfolds.
Now? Quick unpack, quick repack—we’re off again tomorrow, this time by boat. The pace is intense, but honestly, I wouldn’t want it any other way. I love this. Full throttle is where I thrive.
