This Week in Jersey Property: Price-Sensitive Buyers and the Return of Negotiation
Across all five examples we sampled, properties sold for less than their original listing price, with reductions ranging from £9,000 to £130,000. This suggests a buyer’s market trend, where negotiation is common and buyers may have more leverage. The average discount was around 7–10%.
1.Villa Des Mielles, La Petite Route Des Mielles, St Brelade – Sold for £985,000. Fantastic spacious 4-bed, 3-bath family home in need of modernisation, set on a large plot in sought-after St Brelade.
