Here is our latest update from Danny the CEO and founding member of Alexander Carmine Estates.
Last week was a whirlwind of emotions, challenges, and opportunities—a true mix of highs and lows.
On the real estate front, I received a handful offers on properties, but “low” doesn’t even begin to cover it. These were the kind of offers that practically shouted, “We’re trying to exploit current market conditions!” Of course, those proposals didn’t get a warm reception. Negotiation is an art, and while testing the waters is fair game, some buyers are pushing boundaries a little too far right now.
Amidst the property drama, I squeezed in a quick but impactful trip to London. My first meeting was with a developer who’s been behind some stunning projects in Jersey. I can’t spill too many details yet, but the potential here is genuinely exciting—I’m hopeful this collaboration will lead to something remarkable.
The trip wasn’t all business, though. I competed in my fifth HYROX competition at the Excel Arena. Coming off an Ironman last month, my body was still feeling the strain, but it was a solid performance nonetheless. There’s nothing like the adrenaline of competition and the satisfaction of a finish line! To celebrate, I treated myself to a well-deserved steak dinner at Hawksmoor. If you’ve been, you’ll know—it’s a carnivore’s paradise.
To top off the week, an unexpected call from a friend added a layer of intrigue. They invited me to view their newly completed villa in Marbella, hinting at the possibility of listing it soon. I won’t give too much away, but if you like cars, incredible pools and the craziest TV I’ve ever seen you’ll want to keep an eye on this one!
With Christmas just around the corner, the weeks ahead are all about keeping the momentum going, navigating the market, and embracing every opportunity. Thanks for following along—here’s to an even better week ahead.
