Welcome to our Jersey property market update. Overall, properties are selling very close to asking prices, with the notable exception of a property in Trinity (number 5 below). This trend indicates that vendors may be setting more realistic prices or that buyers are gaining confidence in the market.
That said, property transactions are still significantly lower than usual, although positive indicators the market is gaining momentum.
- Flat 1, 10 Garden Lane, St. Helier was sold for £290,00. A cosy, ground floor one bedroom apartment located on a quiet lane in St Helier. This property came to the market offering an open plan living area with fully fitted kitchen, good sized double bedroom, shower room and utility cupboard. This property would make a great first time buyer purchase or downsize. The listing price was c£299,000
- La Mare au Haguais, La Rue de Causie was sold for £907,500. A spacious detached home offers four bedrooms and two bathrooms with three generous reception rooms and a large eat-in kitchen, providing plenty of space for entertaining and day-to-day activities. The home offers both front and rear gardens, ample parking, with potential for additional space, and is conveniently close to the beach and a major bus route. It does require modernisation. The listing price was c£935,000
